Natural and societal consequences of climate-forced changes of Jostedalsbreen ice cap

Local communities and industries will be directly and indirectly affected by the consequences of future climate changes on the Jostedalsbreen ice cap. This project will study the consequences for powerproduction, agriculture and tourism. JOSTICE will, through participation by stakeholders in the different industries, identify the experienced consequences of the local climate changes. The results will provide a scientific basis of knowledge to be able to create tailor suited and context based strategies and measures for climate change adaptation within the specific industries.
