Civil protection and climate vulnerability (CIVILCLIM)

The project looks into the relationship between climate change and societal safety and security. The objective is to identify the factors which determine the local capacity to adapt to changes in the extreme weather situation resulting from climate change. By examining approaches to extreme weather events in the near past, we seek insight into the conditions for long-term institutional learning in the effort to prevent and mitigate damages.
