Torbjørn Selseng has a master of science in Climate Change Management from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. He has a bachelors degree in journalism from Volda University College, and a bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo.
Torbjørn's master thesis "Beyond democracy: Assessing the effects of democratic qualities on CO2" investigates how the design of democratic institutions affect nations' ability to mitigate climate change. The thesis concludes i.a. that democracies valuing equal distribution and equal access to power, elements that are at the core of the 2030 Agenda, have a harder time reducing emissions.
