Anna Maria has a PhD degree from the University School of Physical Education in Poznan, Poland. She also has a master degree in international relations from University in Poznan (2011) and a master degree from University School of Physical Education in Poznan (2013). The doctoral thesis title is: ‘Physical activity of local communities in Poland and Norway in the context of local government actions’. She participated in courses: financial management and accounting, and project amangement.
She came to Norway in 2015 and has been at Vestlandsforsking since 2018. Earlier, Anna Maria worked for tour operators organising and selling trips to Norway for Polish tourists and in Tørvis and Walaker hotels in Sogn og Fjordane region.
Research interests: friluftsliv, cultural tourism, international tourism, physical activity, quantitative research methods and project management.
In 2019, she was responsible for the EU network for Sogn and Fjordane and for providing research support in EU-funded research projects.
