IT- Forum Vest contributes to sustainable growth in Vestland county through a broad collaboration on IT in business, the public sector, education and research. The network IT-Forum Sogn og Fjordane, established in 1995, was on 18 October 2019 formalized as the association IT-Forum Vest. Through extended regional cooperation, the role as an important development partner in the new Vestland county was strengthened.

IT Forum Vest takes the initiative, coordinates and contributes to joint development activities that benefit the entire region. We will be an important alliance partner and strong contributor to creating a good tomorrow for everyone in Vestland county through the use of technology.

Vestlandsforsking is tasked with contributing to the administration of IT-Forum Vest in cooperation with Ymsir AS. In addition, we are members ourselves.
