Vestlandsforsking has one open position as a PhD Research Fellow in big data. The research fellow will be part of the Teknoløft Sogn and Fjordane project funded by the Norwegian Research Council for the period of 2018 – 2023. The research fellow position will target local business relevant decision support solution for effective big data mining and data exploitation.
A Lithuanian delegation has visited Sogn og Fjordane to study the Norwegian approach to climate change impact on biodiversity and ecosystems. The study tour is part of an international project where Western Norway Research Institute and Sogn og Fjordane County Administration are participating.
