Kyrre Groven og Idun Anderssen Husabø presenterte paperet "Vulnerability to climate change in the High North – a threat to security and safety?" under ein konferanse arrangert av Noregs forskingsråd i Oslo 1.-2. september 2008. Konferansen var ledd i programmet SAMRISK og hadde tittelen "Is there a Nordic model for societal security and safety?".
