Substitutionprocesses in holiday behavior, panelstudy 1986-1999
This project is an extention of earlier analysis of long term trends in the holiday behaviour of adult Norwegians. The aim is to clearify factors that influence the consumers choice between having holidays abroad and in Norway, and between commercial and non-commercial holidays when having holidays in Norway. The analysis are based on a long term panel study where 1595 adult Norwegians were intervjued by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). It is the same persons that where intervjued both years. The respons rate were 80% both in 1986 and 1999. CBS har in addition delivered registerdata on income and education for each person.
