Mapping digital paths to integration in local municipalities in Sogn og Fjordane: The case of Stryn municipality

This project lies at the intersection of two areas of interest to local municipalities in Norway: comtemporary migration and the challenges of grassroots integration on the one hand and the increasing central role of digital information and service delivery in meeting demands for inclusive "public service" in Norwegian municipalities.

This project explores how Stryn municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county of western Norway is addressing the challenges and realities of integrating immigrant minorities through digital information service delivery. The project will seek to find answers through exploring the following arenas: scrutinizing the municipality's web-based content, reviewing the relevant documents, interviewing municipality stakeholders (at policy, administration and implementation levels), immigrants, local community and voluntary organisations. The lessons learned will be shared with other relevant stakeholders.
