Would you like to hear about Clim-ATIC?

In the weeks to come, we will publish podcasts on local adaptation to climate change.

Clim-ATIC is an international collaboration project on local adaptation to the effects of climate change in Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Sweden and Denmark. In late October, Flora municipality will host a final conference in Florø. In the next few weeks, we will publish podcasts (sound and picture) online. Here is the first podcast, which introduces the project.

The Norwegian partners in Clim-ATIC include Flora municipality (local climate adaptation), Sogn og Fjordane County Administration (county climate plan) and the County Governor in Sogn og Fjordane (testing an early-warning system using SMS and telephone). Western Norway Research Institute has coordinated a lot of the Norwegian work in Clim-ATIC together with the project coordinator in Perth.

The project is funded by the EU's Northern Periphery Programme and by the participant organizations.
